Funday Monday Linky 10

WELCOME to our 10th Funday Monday!

My kids are on Spring Break this week, so time for a staycation for us.   I had my eyes iLasik surgery Saturday morning, so after sleeping that entire day away, I've just been lounging around and taking it easy Sunday.  It's kinda nice to not have to cook or clean for a change.  My DD1 even brought me breakfast in bed.  How nice!  I had monovision correction done, and my vision has come in pretty nicely, so it will be great to not have to fuss with contacts or glasses anymore.

My friend Kathleen is coming over on Wednesday this week for our Funday.  I'll probably save my Moda Friendship Block #8 for that.   After my Meet My Machines post last week, I've been encouraged to create something with my 1916 Singer treadle.   I figure that a good first project to start will be to sew and quilt a couple of simple potholders on my treadle.   That'll be my staycation fun this week.   :-)

What do you have going on???

Little Funday Monday History...
This past fall, my friend Kathleen (I mention her a lot on this blog) and I made a commitment to get together once a week for crafting.  We chose Mondays to be our day to craft, and we call them "Funday Mondays".    It makes Mondays much more fun, don't you think??

I always have more fun when I stitch with a friend, so I thought I would have a linky party so we can have everyone join for a group Funday.

So...
Please join in and share a link to your post of what's new with you.  Anything family-friendly would be great!  I just ask that you link to a specific post in your blog (not your whole blog).

This party is open Monday - Friday this week, so that gives us plenty of time to come back and share.

  1. You're braver than me! I don't' dare touch my eyes even though my eye doctor said I was a perfect candidate for Lasix. I have to say though my new glasses (got them Friday) makes sewing a breeze...too bad I don't seem to be adjusting well to regular vision! Oh well, it takes time. I'm getting a new knee tomorrow so I won't be around for a bit until I can manage the stairs a bit. I was sewing together Raggedy Ann dolls so that while I'm down for a bit I can sew on their hair (which takes hours and hours per doll). Have a great day!
