Scrappy Organized BOM - Block 5

I finished Block #5 of the "Organized Scrappy" Blocks of the Months from our LQS WebFabrics.

WebFabrics, our LQS

Block 5 is a bow-tie block pattern by Kansas Troubles Quilters. It involved a lot of little pieces but was easy and fun to put together.  I also found the bowtie block pattern I used online on Moda's site here.  I have looked around and found the other BOM patterns online as well.  Will post here with links for the entire collection next.

Back to Block #5...
Pattern and block I started earlier this week.

Chain-stitching my little triangle corner pieces.

Three rows ready to put together.

Bow-tie Block #5.

Happy Stitching!!

  1. Sylvia,
Your quilt blocks look great! It looks like you have been keeping pretty busy yourself.
I see that you found a Monday evening quilt group. I meet with a regular group of ladies about once a month, focusing mostly on machine embroidery. We all learn from each other as we figure things out. I know I would not get nearly as much sewing/quilting/embroidery done if it were not for the social input of both in life and online friends.
    Thanks for sharing your projects!
