What is more fun that being pampered?  Being pampered with a friend, of course.

My FunDay friend Kathleen, & I. We also co-lead two Girl Scout troops together.

My friend and I started our weekly Funday as a way to keep each other motivated with our craft projects.  We also decided that the first Funday of the month was a treat for us to go out to eat and hit the nail spa for some pampering.

This red color was called "High Maintenance"  ha!

Today, being the first Funday of December means it was a really Fun Day!  Lunch was just at Ruby Tuesdays - Nothing fancy.  But the best part was the nail saloon.  The nail spa we frequent is running a holiday special on mani & pedi combos, so of course we had to take advantage of it.  I don't usually get manicures as the polish will not last long on my fingers.  I got a gel polish today that is supposed to last for a good two weeks.  Here's hoping!

So I didn't do any sewing during our Funday time, but I have a bunch of embroidery requests that are waiting for me in my sewing room.  I will work on that tonight.
