I'm so excited to be in Fenton, Missouri this week.  I am attending the Baby Lock Sewing and Embroidery Getaway for Baby Lock Destiny owners.  This is an amazing 4-day class held in the hometown of Baby Lock USA, St. Louis, MO.  The class is being taught at their start-of-the-art Tacony Achievement Center in Fenton, Missouri.

There are only 18 students in this class.  I have been on the waiting list for a chance to attend this class for almost two years!

The training materials include a large binder with quality full-color instructions and details for this class.  Along with a blank notepad and a yummy bag of chocolates to help this week.


Today was a long day.  The shuttle picked us up at our hotel at 8 AM.  I didn't return until almost 8 PM.  We jumped right into learning about the Destiny's IQ Designer.  This is software built into the machine that allows embroidery design and editing.  Very powerful stuff.


Some of the basics covered today were how to take a shape and modify, enhance, and add to it to create embroidery designs.   We designed and stitched many fun things, learning how easy it is to create them.

Can't wait until tomorrow for another full day of training.
