First up, Block 2, which is a flying geese block by Minick & Simpson. I thought it was a pain to keep this block straight with all the little seams, but that is probably just me and my quirk.
Next up is Block 3, which is an 8-pointed star by American Jane. This one used templates and wasn't too bad once I stitched the side blocks correctly.

My DD2 kept me company in my sewing room with a sock monkey project she was working on.
Also got a little embroidery done. I found these fleece jackets on clearance at our local Target for $7.50. Size and color choices were limited, but I found 3 blacks ones for myself and my two oldest daughters. Since they've gotten to the age where they
